BREATHWORK PRACTITIONER TRAINING 2026
A path of attunement, integrity and embodied presence

AUGUST – DECEMBER 2026
Online and In-Person Modules (Portugal)

This training is an invitation to meet and work with the breath as a living intelligence — not something to fix or control, but something that guides us home into the body, into coherence and into our most authentic expression.

Rooted in humility, reverence and self-responsibility, the training supports the becoming of grounded, attuned practitioners who can hold safe, compassionate and deeply human one-to-one spaces. It weaves embodied, hands-on practice with scientific understanding, while honoring the mystical and numinous dimensions of breath, body and psyche.

This is not a performative path.
It is a process of listening, allowing, integration and remembering wholeness.

WHAT THE TRAINING OFFERS

A 5-month foundational practitioner training (plus mentoring) focused on one-to-one Breathwork (Facilitated Breath Repatterning).

You will learn to:

  • Read, attune to and work with the intelligence of the body, breath, psyche and nervous system from a place of presence, humility, integrity and embodied knowing

  • Integrate touch/bodywork, movement, sound and ritual with care, intention and skill

  • Work safely with trauma, conditioning, and psychosomatic patterns, while also knowing your scope of practice.

  • Create physical and relational safe spaces

  • Understand and embody the ethics, role, responsibilities as a Breathwork practitioner

Core principles: Attunement, resonance, resourcing, titration, pendulation and integration — moving with the capacity of the body and psyche, not forcing, fixing or rushing.

THE PRACTITIONER’S JOURNEY

This training is as much an inner journey as it is a professional one.

Through practical explorations, self-reflection, supervision and shared learning, you are invited to deepen your capacity to be with yourself and others — to hold, witness and be held. Shadow work, integrity and ongoing Self-exploration are central, so that your work as a practitioner grows from lived experience rather than technique alone.

LEARNING STRUCTURE

  • We intentionally limit this training to 8 participants to create an intimate learning environment.

WHY THIS TRAINING EXISTS

Returning to our raw humanness in a tamed world

This work profoundly shifted my life in 2021. Since then, I’ve had the honour of walking alongside many people and holding space for their raw humanness.
What this path revealed to me is both simple and profound: we are not broken, we do not need fixing and healing is not something to complete, force or something that can be sold to us. It’s a lifelong journey of deep listening—returning to our agency, self-responsibility and awareness of the intricate web we are part of. By creating the inner and outer conditions for the wisdom of body and psyche to unfold, we begin to remember who we are beneath the imprints of conditioning, trauma and external circumstances. This path guides us home to ourselves, back to genuine connection, supports our authentic expression and unfolding and reconnects us to the nature we are.

ABOUT EDWARD DANGERFIELD

Edward Dangerfield passed his knowledge and wisdom on to me in 2021, profoundly shaping the course of my life. We have shared many containers—trainings, Breathwork circles, team workshops and retreats—and it feels deeply meaningful to now co-create the third in-person module of this training with him.

Drawing from decades of one-to-one practice, practitioner trainings and a Breathwork lab, Edward brings a rare ability to bridge the measurable and the mysterious. A pioneering somatic practitioner working at the intersection of ancient healing wisdom and modern neuroscience, his work centers on the movement of breath through the body as a gateway to nervous system transformation—addressing the complex interplay of breathing patterns, movement, neurodivergence, trauma, intergenerational patterns and cultural conditioning.

His teaching embodies the depth this work requires: precise, embodied and deeply respectful of both science and the sacred.

SOPHIE PIENKER & BJÖRN KEUNE

Sophie and Björn, founders of onoera, will support the first and second in‑person modules. Both are trained FBR practitioners under Edward Dangerfield and bring their deep capacity to hold space, along with presence, warmth, attunement, and extensive experience in Zen meditation, coaching, and relational work.

HOLDING THIS WORK WITH RESPONSIBILITY

Breathwork has become widely accessible in recent years. The breath holds an extraordinary capacity to expand awareness and transformation, as it directly touches the body, psyche and relational field. What we unfortunately see is that this depth is often not  honored and understood enough, overlooking the responsibility that comes with its potency.

We see ourselves as pioneers, committed to ongoing questioning, reflection, and evolution.

This work asks everything of those who would hold it. It requires the capacity to stay present at the edge of mystery, to trust embodied knowing alongside scientific understanding and to hold both the sacred and the measurable without collapse.
Edward Dangerfield

This training is for practitioners who understand Breathwork as sacred, relational, tender and consequential—and who are willing to meet it with responsibility, curiosity and reverence.
